Business Delegation from Singapore

From March 2^nd till 5^th a business delegation from Singapore visited Greece within the context of Freshcano European campaign.

The representatives of major food import companies visited peach canning production facilities, and had the opportunity to learn about the pasteurization, canning and product standardization procedures. Quality control, health and safety standards according to the European regulations, were also very significant matters of interest.

There were also held B2B business meetings with producers associations’ management and talks about the expansion of exports to Singapore’s market.

The business delegation also enjoyed a guided tour around the area’s famous blossomed peach farms, a unique phenomenon that every March turns the fields of Imathia region into a vast “sea’ of pink flowers!
